I hold a Bachelor’s of Art Degree from Kennesaw State University, and over 17 years of music studies and performance experience. My objective is to help children and adults with an ear for music to reach their potentials through a well-rounded education in music. I come from a classical music background both in piano and voice, and my training includes opera as well as musical theater.
Piano and voice lessons are strongly focused on technique/coaching, music reading / sight reading, expanding repertoire, ear training, improvement of pitch, tone quality, range/flexibility, stage presence and overall musicianship.
Music theory lessons revolve around the fundamentals of music in a more analytical manner, deepening the student’s skill, in four-part writing, notation, structure, rhythm, harmonizing melodies, creating their own melodies, etc.
$45 per hour
$35 per 45min
*for intermediate or advanced students who would be interested in combining 2 or all 3 classes, price is negotiable.
