Eastlake Victorian 1870 Dresser with mirror in Charlotte North Carolina 27316

Before you read any further I just want to tell you that in no way is this dresser perfect. But restored it would be a beautiful piece to someone that collects antiques.

 

This is a Dated 1870 Eastlake Victorian Dresser with mirror. It has no name on it anywhere. We showed this to the antique shop he told us when we show him the pictures. This dresser was estimate value at $675.00 we had it appraised in VA I’m willing to take $500.00 for it firm. I figure being it has not been restored. That’s a fair price.

Here is a little about the dresser it was my husband grandmother and she bought it used. The dresser shows the years with the original stain on the wood. I have cleaned it with wood cleaner several times. It would have to be restored to really show its beauty.

 

I cannot seem to see one just like it any where I’m sure it is out there we just haven’t seen one.

It has been my husband mother’s piece it belongs to her mother and it has never been restored. It has some scratches and little dents on it and has been stored in my mother in laws back room.

 

I don’t know nothing about antiques that’s why I took it and had it appraised.

It is maple wood not oak I think. It has a marble top on the dresser part in the middle and then two small drawers on each side.

And the mirror is the original one and it would have to be replaced its not cracks it just looks bad.

This dresser would have to be restored but I know nothing about it. I don’t have room for it in my house The Mirror that goes on the dresser is tall. It has flower like designs crave in the wood. The Mirror will still attach to the back of dresser it’s just so big I took it off for the pictures.

 

All of the drawers will still open the bottom one is missing a pull. We want to sell it as is. I try to get the best pictures of it one showing the mirrors design and the other the dresser part.

 

The buyer would have to arrange for the pickup I have no way to haul the item

The dresser would have to be pickup only. We are in NC close to Asheboro.
