This Bayfield 29 is in very good condition, ready to go for sayling on the ocean.

The boats name is Island Girl and she was kept in a shed over winter for the last dozen of years.

She is new under the waterline since 2 years: New stainless steel throughhulls, new prop and shaft, new rudder and two layers of epoxy and fiberglassmats in addition to the original already strong hull. The survey done 5 years ago estimated a price of 38K before the renewal of the hull. The boat is equipped with autopilot and GPS, a mainsail with 2 reffs and a 150 % Genoa. The past 5 years the owner sailed the coast of Nova Scotia from Lunenburg to Ingonish in Cape Breton singlehanded and felt safe on this oceangoing boat all time.
