Admin experience to design, install, administer Linux and Solaris servers. Solid working knowledge of app & DB Clusters in Solaris, HPUX, Linux, & Windows. Experience in Veritas Volume Manager, Cluster Server, NetBackup.SAN Storage solutions (EMC/Hitachi).Experience in IP Telephony (Voice Genie, Rhetorical, Nuance). System V packaging & deployment experience required.
Position Details
Systems Administration and management of Unix servers, interconnectivity and associated resources.
Perform backups and restores.
Write documentation on procedures and policies.
Responsible for the management and maintenance of the applications and processes within dev and QA environments.
Works closely with the development staff, Network Operations Center, and IT to help develop, test, implement and maintain voice portal applications.
Minimum Qualifications:
4-6 years and Unix Systems Administration.
4-6 years Operating System/Network troubleshooting.
2+ years kernel tuning, performance tuning.
4+ years TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Security
4+ years using Red Hat Linux, Apache and Solaris tools
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to perform in a fast paced environment and available on call for emergency support.
EMC SAN, replication configuration and Veritas backup experience a must.
Linux, AIX, EMC, Veritas certification a PLUS.
