Beautiful Collector Doll Little Sleepyhead is doll number one in a series of four dolls in the “Toddlers And Teddy Bears” collection by Susan Wakeen. Her name is Susie and her bear is Pinky. She has gone to sleep sitting up holding her teddy bear. She is wearing her blue pyjamas with a blue ribbon tied in her fair hair and she is bare footed. Her movable head and posable lower arms and legs are crafted of fine bisque porcelain. Her face is artfully painted and the clothes are hand made. In a sitting position she is approximately 23cm high. She was bought from the Danbury Mint in the USA in the early 1990’s. She has been displayed behind glass. She has never been handled by children. She is in mint condition. She comes in her original box with numbered certificate of authenticity. I am listing all four dolls in this series and all have matching numbers.
