Sudbury, Ontario Paintings Description"Eagles Fight in Thunderstorm" an absolutely awesome piece this huge 48X60 inch Original acrylic stretched canvas painting was created in 2002 by Native Canadian Indian Woodland aritist Saul Mamakeesick, (a similar style & same size painting of Saul's was previously available at the Ahnisnabae Gallery in Thunder Bay, Ontario for a price of $12,000) Mamakeesick, a former Preacher was born in 1957 at Sandy Lake Ontario and has presented a painting to Queen Elizabeth II of England during a 1976 group show titled the Contemporary Native Art Of Canada - "The Woodland Indians" at Canada House London, England and Lahr, Germany, other's in attendence were well known Native Canadian Woodland artists such as Arthur Shilling, Saul Williams and Joshim Kakegamic. Saul Mamakeesick's work is also included in the 1990 Catalogue of Aboriginal Art Prints titled the "Great Canadian Print Company" that includes 98 colour transparencies of Canadian aboriginal art prints and biographies of artists such as Jackson Beardy, David B Williams, Garry Meeches, Clemence Wescoupe, Isaac Bignell, Sweetpea, Robert & Joshim Kakegamic, Abe, James, Morley and Roger Kakepetum & Lloyd Kakekapetum. Saul was also commissioned to illustrate (11 full-colour paintings) the W.
