Selling my '91 Suburban 4X4. Bought it December 2004 from a local firefighter in Tallahassee who owned it for several years prior. Good truck, just needs more TLC than I can afford to give it in time and $$$. Needs an owner who's got time and inclination to dress it back up. Did regular oil changes on it. Served me well on countless trips around the state, up into Georgia and Alabama. Towed trailer with full pro sound gear across town and state easily. Lots of torque, plenty of pulling power. Used 4-wheel-drive just once a couple months ago. Kept up pretty well with regular maintenance on top of needed repairs. Work I've done includes: replaced the radiator upon purchase; brake job; new tires (not a matched set, 2 BF Goodrich A/T's and 2 Coopers); new fuel pump; replaced several front end components, i.e. front right tie rod and front right upper & lower ball joint. Have nearly all paperwork for work previously done: includes receipts from repair shop and receipts from parts purchased and installed personally. Recently replaced front hood and rear bumper. Have a replacement front bumper and grille guard with two fog lamps. Also have two new headliners in gray; will not match the interior blue but are in very good condition. Front headliner was removed; rear headliner is sagging some. Definitely good for the tinkerer. Currently needs some drivetrain and other work: front right hub, front left tie rods, rear axle seal. Brake rotors need to be cleaned from the leaking transaxle oil. Needs paint on the roof, rust is present. Could also use transmission fluid flush and radiator flush. Have written estimate of recommended repairs from Tires Plus on North Monroe in Tallahassee. CARFAX report available. Truck was involved in some kind of front-end collision while under previous ownership, occurred late December of 2003. Not sure if the accident was related to the stump-pulling the previous owner told me about. A police report was filed; public record available from Florida Department of Highway Safety. Time's a factor. Will negotiate, hoping for reasonably quick sale as we're moving to Orlando. Already have at least two interested buyers.
